The Meet, Greet and Mingle event was held on a very sultry evening at Spark at Engine 12 in Washington DC.  The warm weather, steel pan music, beautiful people, Carnival Masqueraders and, yes, Caribbean food and Trini rum punch bought the Caribbean to Washington DC on June 1.  Event partners included  Spark at Engine 12National Caribbean-American Foods & Foodways Alliance (NCAFFA)Mayor’s Advisory Commission on Caribbean-American Community Affairs (MACCCA), Caribbean-American Chamber of Commerce of the DMV (CACCE-GWAN)Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival-DCDC Main Streets (North Capitol, Lower Georgia Avenue, Uptown).
